Legacy hardware can be reused or shared infrastructures can be leveraged. Root WMS's centralized architecture and n-tier web application architecture coordinate with today’s enterprise architecture standards. Since Root WMS is a web application, all processing and system control logic reside on the centralized server. This architecture supports timely data processing, since time-sensitive data does not have to traverse the wireless or wired network infrastructure. The only data passing from the intelligent wireless clients is HTML control logic. All commands are interpreted and executed on the server-side.
